A superconducting microstrip half-wavelength resonator is proposed as a suitable band-pass filter for broadband moderate spectral resolution spectroscopy terahertz (THz) astronomy. The geometry has free range of an octave bandwidth without introducing spurious resonances, reaches high coupling efficiency in the pass-band and shows very rejection stop-band to minimize reflections cross-talk with other filters. spectrally sparse prototype filter-bank band 300–400 GHz been developed employing these filters well equivalent circuit model anticipate systematic errors. fabricated chip characterized terms frequency response, reporting average peak 27% 940.
